Employment Period

Starting with Training Contract and moving to Permanent Employment Contract up to age of 65 upon designation as Line Captain. Permanent Employment Contract extendable up to age of 68 as yearly renewable basis

Monthly Salary Example

Total Monthly Salary Example – 1,420,000JPY

*This is salary example for a Captain candidate who has accrued PIC Jet Time of less than 3,000 hrs in total before joining Peach. This calculation is based on the assumption of flight time of 70 hrs with 2 airport standbys at 6 hrs each and one home standby for 6 hrs in a month

Training Salary

Same base salary as shown under “Salary Example” except for ground duties that won’t be counted towards monthly overtime

Training Cost

-Paid by Company

-Py back 2,500,000JPY if resigned within 24 months

-Not applicable if JCAB A320 type rated

Local Commuting Allowance

-50,000JPY/month (gross), after completion of initial training & designation by company as Captain

-Up to 7,000JPY/time (hotel, taxi, or own car transportation expense) for early morning & late night transport. Applicable after training

Moving Allowance

Reimbursed upon check out

Within Japan: Up to 400,000JPY if moving with family (or0 up to 250,000JPY if moving alone

Overseas: Up to 600,000JPY

Layover Allowance

Japan: 2,500JPY/ night

Overseas: 4,000JPY/ night

Home Travel Allowance

Economy class ticket (or) 200,000JPY (gross) each month available after completion of initial training & designation by company as Captain

Initial Bonus

-JCAB A320 type rated: 3,000,000JPY (gross)

-ICAO A320 type rated & 2,000 flight hrs on type: 2,000,000JPY (gross)

*Note: Paid after completion of initial training and designation by company as Captain. Payback in full if resigned within 24 months after payment

Annual Bonus

Depending on Company’s profit level

National Health Insurance/ National Pension

Half paid by company & half paid by Pilot (Pension and social insurances shall be deducted from salary at source. There will be adjustments based on actual total amount of payment through the year)

Loss of License Insurance

-50% of monthly salary is covered until 60 years of age by the insurance company

-Additional coverage may be purchased from the insurance company through Peach

Medical/ English License

-For Medical License: Initial fees paid by ICAO license holders & JCAB license holders with less than 3 months of validity prior to date of joining

-For English License: Initial fees paid by ICAO license holders & JCAB license holders (depending on validity)

-Renewal fees paid by Company for both

Withholding Tax

Paid by Pilot (income tax, local tax, etc. shall be deducted from salary at source. There will be adjustments based on actual total amount of payment through the year)

Exchange Rate Compensation Allowance (taxable) Applicable when company’s monthly exchange rate is above 100JPY/ USD.
